Chester's 2nd day service dog training
Today we went to kohls looked around a bit and pier 1 imports he even walked by some delicious brownies and completely ignored them!Of course we finished at starbucks(which might become our thing)plus they love us! The whole time he was focused on me and at my side as he should be.As I said before we still have a ways to go yet,but practice makes perfect!
Not bad for a 2nd time out
The people at pier 1 and starbucks had such a fantastic attitude towards us(welcomed us with open arms) no rude questions or anything like that.
-And now for the wtf part of my day-
Unfortunately(I am going to assume too many fake service dogs) may be the cause of this. The sales clerk at kohls was rather rude and actually asked me if my service dog in training was really allowed in public places.
The conservation went as follows
Clerk: Holds out hand in stop position without asking if he is service dog or service dog in training.
*Chester was in his training gear at the time*
Me: He is in training
Clerk: We only allow service dogs
Me: Yes, he is training to be a service dog
Clerk: A service dog??
Me: Yes he is in training and allowed to go in public places, that is how they get the experience to be service dogs.
Clerk: Even though he is training???
Me: Yes access is required
Clerk: pauses to think- Alright you may go
Me: Thank you don't worry he is well behaved- and with that we walked through the store impressing people as we looked around.
Trust me guys I fully intend to return and ask for a manager. It was highly inappropriate and if it happened to me it could happen to other people too!
My mother thought I should shrug this off but I explained to her that she showed bad etiquette towards service dog handlers and their animals even if they are training!
I told my mom if she did this to me and I don't say anything just think how many more teams she could do that to!!
To which my mom agreed so as soon as possible I will contact the store. I did not catch her name, but I can describe what she looked like.Come to think of it she may have been part of the management team.
Here is a copy of the document I will be bringing management at kohls

Journals / Personal
This was the question I received the other day
Person: Why vultures?
Me: Why not vultures?
Person: What do they do for me?
Me: Well they keep disease out of the environment and prevent carcass build up
Person: But how do they get rid of the disease?
Me: Well t

I would certainly report her to the manager! What ignorance. Did she not see his gear on him? Or was just plain stupid? I surely would not "shrug it off" either!!! Sorry things like this piss me off.
